The Silent Objects workshops aims to present the city of Aveiro through personal records, namely images and sounds instantaneously collected by the participants.
The common understanding of the importance of sustainable behavior does not provide a solid notion and feeling of sustainability. A solution, that design may suggest, is engaging communities in acts of design activism, design interventions. The workshop introduces these concepts and gives a methodological overview of previously carried out practices in the field of design activism.
Human memory is complex, fragile and defines our individuality. We propose a playful exploration of the participant’s memory skills, addressing the importance of training the potential of memory through applying varied artistic methodologies for a natural neuro-enhancement.
This workshop is open to all participants who have basic knowledge of three-dimensional modelling and want to gain an understanding of the mechanisms involved in 3D printing and their potential.
